 This is the
project that started it all. Ashlynn is my son's cat and she told me -
via him - that she was waaaaay too cold here in Wisconsin and really needed
a quilt for her bed! How could I refuse?? |
This little "angel"s mom is
a Green Bay Packers fan, loves the color purple and has blue in her decor.
I was fortunate to find a fabric with ALL the colors in it and designed the
quilt around it and the coordinating fabrics.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
That depends -- on the size, number of fabrics, number of
pictures, etc. For an example, Miss Ashlynn's quilt would
cost about $150.00; it is 2' x 3' in size, has 5 pictures
and 3 fabrics.
How long does it take from the time you get my pictures
to the time I get the quilt?
I usually allow a month from the time I get your pictures to
the time I finish and mail the quilt.
What if I want to get the fabric myself?
I need to get the fabric myself so I am sure it will fit the
design we plan. The cost of the fabric will be included in
the price of the project.
How do I pay for it?
You can use a money order, cashier's check, or PayPal. I do
not accept personal checks. I also ask for 50% down at the
time of the order; I don't start a quilt until I receive the
down payment.
What do you charge for shipping?
I charge $15.00 shipping and handling per item. That
includes insurance and shipping supplies.
What kind of pictures do you want - the actual printed
picture or a digital format?
I prefer digital -- it's easier for me to size, crop, and
otherwise edit the pictures that way. If you want to provide
the actual photograph, I will use them but they don't
usually produce as good a quality picture for the quilt as a
digital does. Your photos will be returned with the quilt.
Does it make any difference what size the photos are?
No, I will usually resize and crop the photos to fit the
size of project you want.
Can I wash it?
Yes - cold wash, cold rinse, gentle cycle, and gentle dry.
However, with continued use as a blanket or pillow, the
photos will fade with repeated washings so you will want to
keep that in mind when you decide what size and for what
purpose you will use the item. |

To create this for our niece's wedding gift, I took their
wedding picture, overlayed the words to the song from their ceremony,
printed it on fabric, quilted a "frame" around the picture to a rectangular
shape, matted it twice and framed it. I love the way it turned out! |

I also do
regular quilted items: runners, table toppers, placemats, pillow covers, lap
quilts, etc. I'd love to do some for YOU! |
